How we work:
We generally need a one week notice to allow time to set up a free, no charge appointment, so that you can meet us, and we can meet you and your pet(s) in your home. More notice is recommended for holiday scheduling.
At this time, we will go over pet and home care instructions to customize the service for your household. We cover things like: diet, medication, favorite toys, litter boxes if you have a cat, etc. We will then go through the service agreement and policies, and will obtain a key to your home.
Watchdog prefers to use your own veterinary hospital in case of an emergency, as your vet is familiar with you pet’s history.
Watchdog workers strive to treat your pets as if they were their own.
Services We Offer:
- Fresh food and water on a regular schedule
- Walk dogs, if desired
- Scoop litter boxes
- Play with your pet(s)
- Give medications
- Pull in mail and newspapers
- Water plants
- Rotate lights and adjust curtains
Horse Services:
- Feeding and Watering
- Stall Cleaning
- Grooming
- Blanketing
- Fly Spray Application
- Wound Bandaging and Care
Rates:
One 30 minute visit for up to three pets is $17.00.
Most situations with more than three pets are $1.00 extra for each additional pet. Fish are usually no charge. Birds: one cage equals one pet.
Horse care starts at $17.00 per visit.
Transportation to vets or groomers starts at $17.00 an hour. House watching with no pets is $14.00 per visit. Negotiated charge for extra outside watering.
